Westhold’s affordable transponders are offered in many different styles for many different uses. We offer transponders for car racing, karting, motocross, drone racing, RC racing, and for active sports like cycling, running, skating, biathlon, and more.
For car racing, we offer rechargeable and hardwire models. The G3 CAR transponder has a fast recharge time of between one and three hours and will stay charged for up to five days. The Original Rechargeable transponder also has a fast recharge time of between one and three hours and will stay charged for up to seven days. The Hardwired transponder never needs to be charged because it is hardwired directly to the vehicle.
For karting, the G3 KART and Activated Kart transponders are available. The G3 KART transponder has a fast recharge time of between one and three hours and will stay charged for up to seven days. The Activated Kart transponder has an internal battery with a three-year battery life that depends on usage. The battery’s non-use shelf life is up to nine years. The Activated Kart transponder is recommended for concession karting and professional races. It can be used on motorcycles, karts, and quarter midgets.
The G3 MX transponder is designed specifically for motocross. It is a rechargeable transponder with a fast recharge time of between one and three hours and it will stay charged for up to seven days.
The TX-Sport transponder was designed for use in active sports. The TX-Sport features a replaceable battery that does not need to be recharged. The battery life is two to three years depending on usage.
Both the RC and Drone transponders are hardwired to the device and do not require charging.
Westhold offers personal and multi-slot chargers for our rechargeable units. Slot chargers are available for original and new generation transponders. The slot charger can charge forty-five original transponders or fifty new generation transponders depending on the model. The slot charger also functions as a carrying case made from a tough Mil-Spec, IP-67 case.
Westhold sells pouches and brackets to mount transponders. A bracket is available for the original transponder only. Pouches are available for both the original and new generation transponders. These pouches are designed to limit signal interference when mounting the transponder to a vehicle.
